Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA)
Founded in 1987 by visionary educator Dr. Ralph Opacic, OCSA has grown from a small after-school arts program into one of the premier arts schools in the nation. This innovative public charter school embraces and encourages artistic creativity and academic excellence, and produces lifelong learners who matriculate to top tier colleges, universities, and conservatory programs.
FFT comprehensively upgraded Orange County School of the Arts network from a Cat5e network to a Cat6A network and upgraded their fiber optic cabling from OM1 to OM4 comprehensively as well. This project was part of a complete overhaul being done of the entire building, including the upgrade of the auditorium, which is a historical landmark requiring special permitting and practices to work within the building. We also demolished all current racks, network cabling equipment, network support structures, cable pathways, and any other network infrastructure, replacing it all with upgrade and modern network infrastructure.
